[Server Resource pack not working]

When i load into my server it says "Server resource pack couldn't be applied Any funcionality that requires custom resources might not work as expected" but theres not even a resource pack in the server! pls help, i dont want this to happen every time that i load in to the server

How is the file uploaded? Is it a .zip if yes whats the folder when you open the .zip?

Make sure the .zip contains the asset folder but not in a sub folder:

mypack.zip -> mypack -> assets 

mypack.zip -> assets

Wait, so its the pack.zip and then the assets inside? Do I just zip the assets folder along with the pack.png, and pack.mcmeta? Or just the assets?

I uploaded the dropbox file with the dl=1 and when i joined it said Downloading 100%, but nothing happened after that, i even put the SHA-1 in to see if that would work instead. pls help mez. heres what happens when i join:
