go in your dashboard and find that server command section. in that box type this: whitelist add username

if you wanna make your server private, whitelisting it is an option. if you wanna do this, go to your dashboard and find that server command section then type: whitelist on
if you do this though, you gotta add your friends to the whitelist. if you're not opped then you need to whitelist yourself as well. if you want to op yourself just type: op username
command: /whitelist add username -
edit: minehut is having issues with every server. give it like 30 minutes or check their discord for updates when it's fixed. if not then you can follow what i said below.
it's almost always user error. whatever you did to make this happen, revert that change. for example you may have edited something in your bukkit.yml file and messed up the spacing or whatever and now it won't start. if you don't remember what you did to cause this issue, try to start up your server and check your latest logs. your logs will show you any errors your server is having. if you don't know how to find them then it's likely you don't know how to understand them so just send them in the comments of your thread using pastebin or something. to find them go to your dashboard, click the server you're having issues with, go to file manager, logs, latest logs.

you said it yourself, the file you tried to upload is too large. minehut limits the world upload size, think it's like 500mb? at least that's how big it was back in the day

the obsidian breaker feature of this plugin doesn't work with water. it acts as if there's no water. i'm trying to make a factions server and it'd be hard for my players to defend their bases lol.
any fixes or alternatives to this?

hey i'm gonna keep it short and sweet for yall. the fbasics plugin is an extension for factions that prevents players from exploiting glitches. every external faction server has this plugin, it's pretty much essential. if the admins can't install it because it's outdated or whatever then i understand, but i've seen it done with other plugins so it's worth a shot. thanks for your time.

the CombatLogX plugin isn't being used to its full potential.
so i'm trying to use combatlogx to block players that are engaged in pvp from entering a non pvp region with worldguard.
in order to achieve this, i'd have to manually add the expansion in the plugin.
i'm unable to do this though because minehut doesn't let us upload jar files. i'm here in hopes of an admin manually doing this for us.
there are a few other expansions other than worldguard that would actually make this plugin a lot more useful. here is the plugin wiki on spigot if you would like to take a look: https://www.spigotmc.org/wiki/combatlogx/

while i'm here i might as well suggest a few plugins.
- GenBuckets. skript just can't handle them... genbuckets act as a water bucket but instead of water flowing it's a block such as obsidian. this plugin would cater to faction servers. https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/savagegenbuckets-1-8-1-15-the-ultimate-genbucket-plugin.63051/

you have to do it on your control panel. go to the server command section and type this: op username
no /slash is needed but it works either way. -

these plugins were on minehut before but i took a couple years off and came back to see them gone. if they could be added back that'd be pretty sick. thanks and have a good one.

1 - we want /ignore to fully ignore other players. at the moment, it only ignores their direct messages to you.
or
2 - we want a feature where you can disable seeing advertisements in the lobby.
/ignore: sorry if i'm in the wrong category on your forums. i'm coming from discord, and was directed here by another concerned citizen. i was providing feedback on discord about /ignore "not working" but apparently it's never been broken because it's always worked the way it's supposed to. i'm here today to ask if you can change that. i would like /ignore to actually ignore people all the way, not just their direct messages sent to you. for context, i'm trying to ignore people that spam the same advertisement over and over. this isn't just a personal request, it would benefit everyone that likes to hang out in the lobby. i attached a file showing
lobby advertisements: if changing the /ignore command isn't possible, how about adding a feature or command in the lobby where we can toggle seeing advertisements. woah, a two in one post? you bet! you can even make it super accessible like a forced popup when you join the lobby asking something like "see player advertisements yes or no". so many choices. it's your decision how you wanna do it, i'm just giving one bare example.
i like to have conversations with random people online every now and then, and minehut is a good place for it. we're all here in the same place, pursuing a common passion of making your own minecraft server. having this in common is a good way to spring up a conversation. we can trade server ideas with each other, look for staff members or just talk to our like-minded folk. however, it's hard to do this when you have people spamming their bright colorful advertisements in the global chat. it's surprising that this suggestion hasn't come up yet! or maybe it has, and they were shut down. anyway, that's all. thanks for reading and have a nice day.
