Also ive tried using a slash but that didn't work either. When I op my friends it works fine but when I op myself it doesn't work at all.

I wanted to give some people on my server permissions but to do this I have to be oped so I go onto the mine hut server page and I go to the server console and I type op and then my username. I don't use slashes or anything but then when I go in game to turn on flying mode it says I dont have permissions.
