Trying to update server

I have recently updated my server to 1.20.1 due to minecraft informing me that my client was incompatible and that I should use 1.7.2-1.20.1. As stated previously I have updated my Minehut server from Paper 1.19 to Paper 1.20.1 and yet minecraft is still informing me that my client is incompatible in spite of the fact that I have updated the server. Is this some kind of issue with Paper or is there something more I am not understanding here?

Your client is most likely running Minecraft 1.20.2, which Minehut has not updated to yet.

We only support the latest version of each major version.

but my friend made a server that was 1.20.1 paper is there a plugin to do this?
