Loading server data pack not working

I was attempting to load a data pack on my server and followed the instructions in the minehut faq/tutorials section. I went to the panel/server properties/ resource pack area and added the url of the .zip and restarted the server. When I joined the server it notified me this server is using a resource pack and asked me if i wanted to download it. It froze up on  making request 100% and restaring and rejoining the same message was on the screen each time restarted server a few times rejoined same thing. I had to remove the url save and reload my server and it appears to be working but the data pack of course isn't loaded. Is there any way to get this data pack to run on my minehut server?

The data pack you tried to upload is dedicated for Minecraft version 1.13, whilst Minehut servers run on Minecraft 1.14; I believe this may be the issue.

according to the information it also is working on newer versions the creator had commented 2 weeks ago on his youtube video saying it does indeed work as recently as 1.14.4 that is why it is listed as being for 1.13+

I have checked the logs and timing reports and verified with the creator of the data pack that it is not running on my server. I Stopped the freezing issue by uploading the file to my google drive and using that link instead and it now downloads for players when they join but doesn't actually run. Do I perhaps have to load the files manually into the datapacks folder in the file manager section of the console? or is that even something I am able to do through minehut?

Looks like the tutorial for data packs is only for resource packs and the title is wrong in the faq section of the forums someone may want to fix that and add a tutorial on adding data pack. Managed to find the information on how to install data packs in the minehut discord channel can verify it works perfectly and does not have many folders or files to add I highly suggest checking it out if you are at all concerned about the limited number of shulkers on your server.

I think I agree with you on this one. Perhaps the Support Team over at SLG messed up whilst writing the FAQs. Anyway, yeah, I would recommend uploading the datapack files (each file, one-by-one) directly to the datapack folder. I've heard that method does work.

It does just had to get help from the discord as the guide for doing so in the faq is wrongly titled and only for resource packs and there is no information on how to actually add a data pack you just have to manually create each folder and upload the files into the correct folders.

That's what I figured. There seems to be an issue with the fact that you can't edit or add .zip folders. I hope that feature gets added soon.
