Is it possible to change the difficulty without resetting the world?

I made a raid farm on a server with my friend but it is on easy mode so evokers cannot spawn, so I thought that I could change it like in a normal world (as I have console access) but it never changes when I change it as I can see by going into options and then online and even there I cannot make a change. 

My question is: is there a way to change the difficulty or any other options that do not mean resetting the world as we are past day 250.

It can be possible but it could crash the server I normally use /reload in the game or you could type "Reload confirm" in console again though I would not recommend doing this to much because it could crash hope this helped.
