Worlds resets when updating version to 1.20.1

Hi!

My world (Paper 1.19.4) totally resets when I try to update to version 1.20.1.

It´s not even the same seed? What am I doing wrong? I hav´nt changed anything else then server version..

This happens to some people, not 100% sure on why. One thing you can do is download your world from 1.19.4, then update your server, then upload the world you downloaded appropriately and delete the new one then restart.

Select the world on your file manaager and hit the download button, the /dl and /ul commands were removed years ago.

I tried to change the version via the small panel BEFORE starting the server. Now it upgrades correctly! So I didn't need to upload anything.
But good to know if I have to some day.
