SpongeForge Global Configuration Overwritten

ShatteredDisk

Question

Hello!

I am using SpongeForge 1.12.2 on Minehut to host a modded server.

Some of the mods I use require special configuration while using SpongeForge as some of the optimization present breaks the core functionality of the mods.

I have tried multiple times to modify the "entity-activation-range" section in the "global.conf" file located at [/home/config/sponge/].

However, every time I restart the server, Minehut assumedly overwrites the edited configuration profile and resets it back to default.

Is there any way to circumvent this?

Thanks, ShatteredDisk

Stop your server, edit the config, save changes, then start it. IE; edit it while your server is offline. It may work, it may not. But sometimes it does.
