How to turn on online mode?

A plugin I'm using needs online mode to set true, I did it in the server properties in the files but everytime I stop the server it resets to false which isnt compatible with my plugin also even when I set it to true and restart the server it still shows as true in the file but its not really true its still false

Are you running a command in-game or setting it to true in the plugin's config.yml file?

If it's a free plan that you're on then they are meant to do that, as far as I know you cannot get around that with a plugin because it's server-sided, that is handled from MineHut's end.
