How do I make somebody's chat message another color with luckperms?

There are many different ways you can do this.
One of the ways you can do is make a chat permission and check for that when they chat
 

on chat:
	player has permission "chat.gold"
	set message to "&6%message"

Thants one example, this will check on a chat if the player has the permission "chat.gold" if they do the chat color will be set to gold. This permission can be given to ranks using lukperms or any other permission manager.

I dont think you can without a skript of some sort so no its not built in to lp
