My minehut server motd doesn't update.

When I update my server motd, it says that it was successfully changed, even though it did not. It keeps showing the default motd "A minecraft server". Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Change it through server.properties if you want to change the one that shows up in the multiplayer server list

Minehut doesn't allow me to edit the server.properties file, which makes sense.

they do allow you to edit it

You can adjust the server description that shows up in the multiplayer list by editing your server.properties file and changing the motd= line to a message of your choice.

You can make this change by going to the File Manager on the server dashboard. Please be aware that you will need to restart your server after changing the message for it to take effect.

After adjusting my server motd in the server.properties file, and saving it before restarting my server, it is still exactly the same as before "A minecraft server". It didn't take effect even though it tells me that it was successfully modifed... I'm pretty sure my server motd stopped working after purchasing the MH35 plan if that helps. Is there any other way of resolving this issue without having to reset my server?

Nevermind, I've managed to fix the motd using the server.properties. I had to try it a few times before it worked, thank you
