Was a mistake i got banned for 3 Months?

Hello, today i was just chilling in the Minehut lobby, as I do always, and then, i said to revive the chat "someone start a riot to remove /ad already" and then i got banned for 3 Months.. I don't get how I can get banned for 3 Months when all i said was "someone start a riot", i feel like i did osmethng wrong, but i wanted to know if its a mistake, or i should of been banned for a week or a few days, not a few months...

Oh dear oof you might get your account unbanned in a week or so Idk ask the staff about it cause I have no idea how long it is going to be for you but your gonna be alright
