stuck on nether roof cause cant build or die

i went to the nether roof but i cant build on there for some reason, i assume its because of minehut, so i try to kill myself using starvation but that only brings my health down to half way then starvation stops killing me??, no clue why this happens. im not the onwer of the server nor do i have op so im just stuck up here, please help.

Aren't there mobs spawning there?

Btw, you need to contact the server owner since Minehut can't help you if you are stuck on the nether roof -_-
