Changing server from 1.17.1 to 1.18.3?

Me and my friends are pretty new to using Minehut, so we made our first server on it just recently. However, after already jumping right into it and getting settled, we noticed our server version was set on an older version (1.17.1) by default.

I noticed you can easily select a different server version in the server options, but I was wondering if there was by chance any downside or precautionary I should be aware about before we try changing it to 1.18.3?

(I did try googling around about this and saw a lot of previous but kind of old-ish answers that said you COULDN'T update your server version on Minehut, so I got confused and thought I would ask for some clarifications here just in case lol.)

The newer version will cause you some slowdown on load up because it will need to regenerate the world, once that is complete it should be fine. We recommend making a manual backup in your current version before switching because that is the only way you can go back if something goes wrong.
