Fabric server won't start (outdated fabric loader and fabric api)

My fabric 1.17.1 server will go from hibernating -> starting -> offline.

i've taken a look into the log file and it seems the server has an outdated fabric loader and fabric API for the mods i want to use.

im not sure how to go about replacing the fabric loader, and the updated fabric API i put in seems to always get overridden by the one minehut provides.

any help would be appreciated

EDIT: i've gotten the log to stop asking for a newer fabric api by uploading a newer version and having it appear higher on the file list than the fabric api that comes with minehut.
im still unsure of how to replace fabric loader with a newer version though.

fixed part of the problem, not all of it however.
