If your friend gets mad at you for forgetting something that small...

Just ask them for the IP again, and say you didn't write it down.

Then, go to minecraft's multiplayer page, click add server, and then type the server name and ip in the correct locations.

Just do /find (player name) and it will say what they are playing on and the IP, if your friend has player-finding off it wont work.

if your friend or you created the server and have server access just look at the name -_-
