how do i make command blocks give a person a luckperms group

If you have the plugin called essentials, that changes the way command selectors work. You have to do the command like /plugin:command @p. For example, /minecraft:give @p or /luckperms:lp user @p. But note that some plugins don't support the @p selector at all so this may not work either.

ive tryed /luckperms:lp user @p perent set Owner, but it says "@p is not a valid username/uuid. I don't know how the uuid works, but i've tryed the plugin called CommandHook and PsudoCommand, none of the plugins work and i don't have eny plugin that dosen't support @p so it must be essentials. Please help.
