Downloaded GriefPrevention Plugin, Launched Server and Everything is Deleted On The World

Villagar

Question

Hello! , today i made a smp for me and my friends at 5PM, and we all played on there for like 8 hours making progress, mining , making beautiful houses, farms all that... we kept getting attacked by creepers so i decided i'd add griefprevention so we can claim our homes... 1 girl even spent like 5 hours designing and making her house, anyways i went to add grief prevention, i went to install it, it asked me to restart my server... which i thought means like restarting it in a way like... ''if you restart your computer it will shut down and boot back up and be back to normal'' so i did it, thinking that i have to restart it to be able to get the plugin to work.... i launched back up and everything is gone on the server, the houses, the everything.... which is where im in a big hot pickle.... not knowing how i would explain it to others, i was wondering if theres a way to get that world back, cause i think its stupid that it fully deleted my world cause i wanted to download a plugin.image.png.7354673e1bdb1b075bbcfb0aa8ddc3ac.png

Restart does what you described, reboot the server. Did you change any settings? If you changed the Level name setting, change it back to what it was before (it is world by default)

i didnt change anything.... i waited till it restarted and then went on my minecraft to join the server... and i was spawned somewhere far with nothing
