How do I tweak plugins?

I have tried to tweak a plugin in the minehut, but it doesn't seem to support .jar files in it's editor, do I need an ide and then upload it again? btw the plugin doesn't use skript

You cant tweak it in minehut, Im pretty sure if you wanna tweak a plugin, you have to know to code plugins. You should upload it to your desktop then edit it from there.

The .jar is the compiled plugin itself, you can't edit that, the only way you can 'tweak' it on Minehut itself is by using the config file pretty much every plugin provides (or any other name, but mostly config.yml), if you want to edit the actual code, then check the plugin page to see if you're allowed to make changes (not all authors find this ok) and then you can go from there
