LuckPerms not working

I'm trying to create my own SMP server but LuckPerms isn't letting me do any commands, when i try to do a command related to LP it just ignores the command entirely and says "Running LuckPerms v5.3.47." The commands seem to work on minehut website's console but when i check back on the game to see if i got my rank, nothing happens

That usually means you don't have permission to those commands. Make sure to op yourself by typing op yourname in the server console.

I tried this on the server console but for some reason it says this (see below)
After i executed the command on the server console i tried to go back to the ingame server console to check if it worked, but nothing was changed. I tried rejoining my server as well but unsurprisingly enough it didn't work

what _Tarna_ means by this is are you op-ed on the server itself? (did you execute the command /op shay336699 in console?) Do you have Vault installed as well?

Sorry for the late response, yes I have Vault installed on my server. I tried to execute the /op command on both the minehut website's console and the ingame console, both didn't seem to work. The website's console said that "the command was unknown" and the ingame console simply didn't allow me to op myself because "i don't have permission to use that command".

Don't put the / while using the console, just type op yourname

When I start to type /lp it turns red. How do I fix it?

For this to work you will need essentials and essentials chat try installing them and it might work.
