I cant run commands because I'm not OP but im the server owner.

I tried to look this up and a few other people had the same problem. I tried using the console and the ingame chat but they both didn't work, when I type it in the MC chat it says i need to contact the admin of the server but i am the admin. When I type it in the console it say unknown command. I've also completely reset the server and it still doesn't work. Can someone help me with this?

go to server console and do /op ( your ign)

open your chat or use console thing on the website and type in “op username” and not /op username
