Mining Stalactite Causes Minehut to Crash

One time, my friend was mining stalactite in a farm, and then the server crashed. After 20 minutes, it fixed itself.

But then I mined stalactite, the server crashed again. I tried force hibernate, repair files, closing and opening the server again, and everything. When I do force hibernate and go back in, I can see the stalactite falling, and then the chat said, "Server was closed." Somebody help!! We spent 300+ Minecraft days in this server.

Can anything be done?

Keep trying and you should be able to join again.

What server software and version are you using? Can you send your server logs here in a pastebin.com?

ChekinNooget has the server logs, but we’re using Vanilla 1.17

Its Spigot 1.17, and i have a photo somewhere...

IDK what a server log is but maybe this will work?

I got this message in the minehut lobby after i got kicked... BTW none of that text makes sense to me XD

Oh so what I did in the split second that I was in the server, I did /kill @e[type=falling_block], and it stopped glitching. I will note this for future reference. Thanks for your help!

ok nice. there was this issue with falling stalactites ive seen before that caused the server to crash when it loaded it so think that happened to you too.
