Cant open server even after updating to Spigot 1.17.

I changed my sever from paper to spigot and updated to 1.17. 

 

My minecraft launcher says "Latest Release 1.17.1"

Server dashboard says "Spigot - 1.17"

 

but my multiplayer minecraft tab says "Velocity 1.7.2-1.17"

When I try to enter the server it immediately says, 

"Incompatible client! Please use 1.7.2-1.17"

 

 

Please help

It was working perfectly just last night.

You might be using 1.17.1 - That is not yet supported on minehut. It will be soon. For now, try and use 1.17 or even 1.16.5 as they should be cross-compatible for the moment.

I have the same issue and that worked! But now I think it's less of a server issue and more of minehut having problems rn since my server is now stuck downloading. Maybe it is because of the storm in Texas? i don't know though, just a guess

Minehut servers didn't support 1.17.1 when this post was made but they updated it to 1.17.1 clients can now join too. But note that the servers are still on 1.16.5 or 1.17.
