Cannot find new ores/blocks

Hey all, with the new 1.17 update on my server, ive gone into new portions of the world that are newly rendered; had not been explored before, and we still cannot find the new blocks. Any help/advice would be great. Also i tried using MCA to reset chunks and could not figure out how to replace the 'region' folder in the file manager tab. Like it kept saying it could not sanatize the file names, and upon launch the server would not boot so i had to restore a backup that i made before i started messing with files. Please help, thanks

Make sure you set your server to 1.17 in the appearance tab on the panel and then clicked update and restarted the server for it to take into effect.

I did that and it still doesnt have the new ores or blocks. The new generation is there though. Do you know how to use MCA to reset chunks?
