My server will not start

Hello. I am trying to join my server, I typed in /join mega2smp in the chat and then it just loaded me into the lobby. Another thing I tried was using the dashboard. Multiple times trying to start it the same results happened: "Starting" then it said "Offline." Please provide assistance.

If it is going from starting to offline when trying to start the server, can you send your server logs here in a pastebin.com. They can help determine what is causing the server not to start.
