server stop running

This started 2 days ago, right before the new minecraft update got released, i was trying to start up my minehut server so when it did start, and i tried joining it on minecraft, it just took me to minehut's actual server's lobby, and it did that every time i tried again. This kept happening so i finally stoped the server, but when i clicked stop it just didn't let me. i tried restarting it and even hibrinated it, but it was no use. That server means a lot to me a have spent so much time on it does anyone know how to fix this please?

Make sure you are using 1.16.5 and the server's status says online before joining. Is it even coming up as online? And if its crashing, try checking the server's logs.

Yeah it is on 1.16.5 but the status says "downloading" Its been like 3 days now. My other server is working, but this one isn't. everytime i try to stop the server, or even restart, it doesnt work. It's just stuck like this.

Try force hibernating the server then try starting it again. You can force hibernate it in the danger zone tab on the panel.
