My server is stuck in Easy and won't turn to Hard

I tried doing /difficulty and it says that it switched to hard, but i do it again and it doesnt give me the message that its already on hard, it gives the one where it switches but it doesnt actually switch. I do /difficulty easy and it says that its already on easy, so its stuck on easy. I tried the server commands and restarting my server but it just wont work. Please help, i need it to be in hard mode

You have to change the difficulty via console go to dashboard -> Server -> Settings there u can change ur difficulty then click on save and restart the server
