i cant seem to put someone who joins into a groupmanager group automatically. apparently anybody will get put into the default group so i let that group get the perms and commands that i want them to have and be able to use but someone joined and it didnt let them use the commands. then they said my server was trash and left.

can anyone help fix this issue please?

Which plugins do you have installed? You can check this with /pl

Hey there.

From what I know, you require Vault plugin to hook up into other plugins and sync permissions.

Install Vault, Restart the server and let us know if the problem exists.

Restart your server and check if players have their permissions of default group working.

Hey there,

Instead of trying to put the player in a group automatically, you are able to edit the group DEFAULT. This group is applied to the player when they join automatically.

Yes, when the player automatically joins, they get the Default group. You can add permissions the same way you do with any group, but change the group name with default.
