Why was /server removed

So, I'm trying to make a server with a bunch of worlds and mv is messing up the end, so I was going to see if I could connect two different servers into 1... but then I found out that it was disabled. So, yea, does anyone know why it was disabled?

I'm not 100% certain as to why it was removed, but it was removed a decent amount of time ago if I'm remembering correctly. With Multiverse, I recommend linking the worlds with either the correct names or I'm pretty sure Multiverse Nether Portals allows world linking.

Yeah, what Omega said is pretty much correct. It was a security exploit and it just got disabled.
