Question

Hello, I am a very small YouTuber with 54 subscribers at the time, today, around 4:15 pm PST, there was a player named "YeehawCat" claiming they have been stalking my YouTube channel for months-though I had my YouTube career for only about 3 months, also mentioning they found my "ip", I'm not sure if they are talking about the server ip "CreatorSCR.minehut.gg" or my computer ip address. I asked one of my friends for help, them thinking I'm getting trolled, anyone have any advice?

Details:

IGN: YeehawCat

My IGN: soph_the_loafYT

Server ip: CreatorSCR.minehut.gg

YouTube: soph_the_loaf: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCx66eTlhry1_ijHt4ChGlUA/videos

Date & time: around 4:15 pm PST, Feb 17, 2021 (2/17/21)

If your internet connection has not been randomly cut out yet, they probably don't have your IP address or don't even know how to do anything with it. However, if you are still worried and want to make sure that they don't have your IP address follow these steps to get a new one (windows 10):

1. Type "cmd" in your windows search bar - open command prompt

2. In the command prompt, type "ipconfig /release" and hit enter

3. Type "ipconfig /renew" and hit enter

Done! you have a new IP address.

Thank you! Although, after typing "ipconfig/renew" this show up on Command Prompt, I'm not very good with commands, is this supposed to happen? I also do not have cable Wi-Fi, instead, I have wireless Wi-Fi using Ethernet USB, does this affect anything when you're trying to change you're ip?
