Disable /join on a server

Hello,  so my friends have been using the /join feature to get on my server when I'm not on. I wouldn't mind it if they didn't grief my base and stuff. So, what I want to know is can I disable the /join feature? Do I need to ban them until I get back on? 

 

PS: what they do is little things mainly pranks but I just don't want it to escalate.

Unfortunately, there is no way to disable the /join feature for your server. However, you can whitelist your server so only whitelisted players can join. You can do that by typing the command "/whitelist on" and "/whitelist add (player)" to add a player to the whitelist.
