Can You Play Cross-platform and Cross-Minecraft editions?

I'm looking to play with a friend who is planning to get bedrock on the PS4. However, I have Windows 10 Java edition of Minecraft. If we play on a server together, would it work? I know you can play bedrock and java together but not sure if you can play on different platforms such as this.

Hey there.

Of-course you can play on Minehut with non-java edition minecraft.

To connect, you can use the following information:

-> Server IP: bedrock.minehut.com

-> Server PORT: 19132

And then you should be able to connect

my freind is unable to join the minehut server for bedrock so he can join but dosent work how can we i fix this
