My friend cant join my server

Every time my friend trys to join my server he gets teleported to the hub or lobby.He is even whitelisted.I dont know what to do so any help?

Hey, default Minehut server versions are "1.16.4" If your friend isn't using this version he won't be able to connect to your server unless you have a version support plugin installed.

If you want your server to be able to support versions that date back to 1.8 then we'd advise installing the "Protocol Support" plugin in the plugins tab of your minehut console.
