Disease plugin help

Good Day!
I can't seem to have Disease plugin to work. Though it is able to display status with command such as infecting or curing. But no status ailments. Is this a bug or due plugin needs update or what. Any help with regards to my query is much appreciated.

The latest version of the plugin is 3.3.0 and the version on Minehut is also 3.3.0 so its not cause its outdated. But I do see 2 people on the reviews of the spigot page saying it isn't working for them on the latest versions. The plugin hasn't been updated since December of 2019 so the plugin dev probably has to update it maybe. The plugin author did reply to one of the reviews on November of 2020 saying they are working on a newer version of this plugin but it still isn't released yet. Probably just have to wait till then.
