i got banned for having an inappropriate username

my username is bigppfella and i play on a server with my friends. i got banned for messaging a helper about why there was a cactus in my hotbar, they saw my username and banned me for 11 decades. i got banned for literally just being in the lobby when starting up a server literally requires you to join the minehut lobby. i don't get why i should be banned for only messaging a helper, not talking in chat, not doing anything inappropriate. just having a username that people would only see if i was near them or if they were looking through usernames in tab got me banned. not even that inappropriate of a name tbh.
