Players Keep Items, Even After Death?

I'm not sure what's up with this, but in my SMP whenever my friend dies they keep their inventory, not dropping anything. This seems normal except for two weird things:

1. I disabled KeepInventory, not once, but three times just to double check.

2. His levels are gone, going back to zero like intended. It's just his items that are staying.

Yet still, he keeps his inventory. I believe this is the work of a plugin, although I could be wrong. Because of that, my plugins are:

ActionBarHealth

BetterSleeping

Custom Recipes And Crafting (CraftEnhance)

Emerald Tools

FastLeafDecay

ImageOnMap

VeinMiner

WordFlake (Replaces Words)

 

I don't see why any of them would change whether you can keep your items or not, yet I also cannot find another place this issue could occur from. Could anyone help?

Try looking through the config files of all your plugins and checking that they do not have a "Keep Inventory" system enabled.
