How do i change the permissions of a kit with essentialsx

i am trying to create a kit pvp server but whenever players try to use /kit then they cant. however i can  use it fine as a server operator. i tried kit signs but that doesn't work either. i think the way to fix it is in the config file but i cant find where, does anyone know?

You'll need to give users permission to use the /kit command. You can follow this tutorial on how to use LuckPerms to achieve this (for a full list of Essentials permission nodes, take a look at this website). Instead of creating a rank use the 'default' rank (which everyone is automatically added to).
