Nether difficulty changing on its own

i have my world set to hard but when i enter the nether and then leave the nether the difficulty changed back to easy. Is there a way to stop this happening permantly as it is quite annoying to always have to do "/difficulty hard" and then log back out and log back in again. 

i saw an old post about this but the solution given doesnt seem to work for me.

@ztimhirsch1 i tried that but it still doesnt work. after some research i found out that it was a minehut glitch but i never found an answer. Is there a way to solve this glitch because it can be very annoying espacially when i'm (server owner) not online.

I still have this problem. 

when i join the server the difficulty is hard. then when i travel to the nether the difficulty is still hard but when i travel back to the overworld the difficulty automaticlly changed to easy. When i do /difficulty hard it changes it back to hard but when i travel to the nether and then back to the overworld the same thing happens. 

i tried to use the plugin multiverse  but i didnt find any video properly explaining how that could help

Hey there, set the difficulty in Settings tab and restart your server

Navigate to https://minehut.com/dashboard

Start your server.

Click "Edit Server" on the server you wish to add the difficulty.

Under 'Server Commands', type /difficulty hard
