my world got deleted (need help)

Me and my friends had a minehut sever that we played on a lot, when randomly when we load up the server and go into it, all our stuff is gone and we are in a completely new world. We played on the same server a day before with some lag but nothing seemed out of ordinary. Is there any way at all that we can get our world back? I would really appreciate any help i can get

check /worlds and see if you are in the correct world

also if you had only started playing yesterday, there's a chance your server rolled back
