Command block or redstone not working

Hello everybody,

 

i have been desparatly trying to get this map to work for ages now it is this map https://www.minecraftmaps.com/adventure-maps/mystery-of-the-time-keeper . At the start you need to step on a pressure pad to be teleported to the start but whenever i step on the pad nothing happens, I have command blocks turned on but still nothing happens. Could anyone please help me ?

Hey! What version of the map is it? The command blocks could be running off old code

Do you also have any plugins? Because the plugin Essentials makes command blocks work different. Like the command block has to be /minecraft:tp @p instead of /tp @p. So if you have this plugin, remove it, restart the server, then try. And also note what FadelessBanjo said. Some of the older versions of minecraft commands are different from newer ones so that may be another reason why its not working.
