swirs Posted September 17, 2020 Share Posted September 17, 2020 M I N E H U T C O M M U N I T Y F A Q HOW TO USE KITEBOARD REQUIREMENTS: Kiteboard, Essentials, Placeholder API, Vault DIFFICULTY: MEDIUM Introduction to Kiteboard: Kiteboard is a plugin where you can create advanced but simple scoreboard to make your server stand out more and give it a flashier look as well as providing information for players! Kiteboard does require some plugins which it needs to make it function properly. Before configuration: Before configuring Kiteboard you will see that there are five yml files that can be edited, the four that are for the actual scoreboards are main_board.yml, join_server.yml, combat_board and a hex_colors.yml. There is also a tablist configuration file. However the hex colors, join server board and the combat board are not needed if you don’t like them, same goes with the tablist configuration file. Configuring Kiteboard: Starting off with the main board inside of the config file (main_board.yml), you should see the settings at the top and then in the middle will be the criteria aka the permissions. Under that will be the area that you can edit, it is called content. The permissions will let only a group with that specific permissions see the scoreboard, for example, with the permission VIP, that board would only be visible to the players with the VIP rank. On the different boards there will be lines that will indicate which part of the scoreboard you are editing, for example on the first line you can have it say the name of the server. Basic Commands In-game: /kiteboard info - See plugin information. /kiteboard view group <group> [type] - View group information. /kiteboard help [page] - Show available commands. /kiteboard off [player] - Toggle the scoreboard off. /kiteboard on [player] - Toggle the scoreboard on. /kiteboard reload - Reload configuration files and plugin. /kiteboard set <group> [player] - Change your current scoreboard group. /kiteboard reset [player] - Reset your current scoreboard group. /kiteboard toggle [player] - Toggle scoreboard on/off.
