Turning off Usernames

I'm not sure if this is something I should be asking here or in the Minecraft Forums, but I'll just ask.

How does one turn off usernames? I'm trying to film a scene with a lot of players in-game, and I don't want their usernames to be visible. I'm also using the Civilian Plugin, and I was wondering if it's possible to erase the usernames of the civilians as well.

Do you mean the Citizens plugin? 

Also, you should be able to just press f1 and see no name tags. This will also remove the hotbar and scoreboard from your screen through.

Yes! Sorry about the confusion.

I tried F1, but this merely removed the hotbar and my right hand. It’s alright, though. I found out that you could just do the /npc name command to remove the name.

Oh ok nice.I didn't know you could name an npc nothing.
