World downloading

I have a sever with a friend of mine but I want to download it, is there any other way to download the server other than using the commands in-game? If there isnt another way, when if ever will be able to download a file sizer bigger than 100MB?

The only other way I could thing of is some sort of world downloader mod, which im not sure if there is one available for 1.16 yet. Or with worldedit, you can make the builds on your server or parts of the server into schematics then download the schematics. Since schematics or smaller than worlds, it should work. /dl schematic <schem file> is the command to download schematics. In the Minehut Meta Discord, they said they are working on their own world download system instead of using an external host and maybe even a way to download through the file manager.
