Application Questions -
 • Why do you want to apply for a staff on Lift?
From being ingame and such, I can see that there is both a lack of online staff during certain hours, but also a need for another person to fill the chat and gameplay moderation. I think I'd make a good example of this, as currently, when typing out this application, there is a complete shitstorm. (Excuse the swearing). Just seems like it would require an extra hand to keep everything under control, and I could definitely help out with that.
 • How much time can you contribute to being a staff member on Lift?
Definitely many. I'd say at least 2 hours per day ingame. I will try to keep that consitently, but once school starts, I might have to step down from my roll, or at least chill for a bit.
 • Have you been staff on any servers?
Yes. Mostly Swedish servers, but I did help moderate another server called MunchyMC for about a month. This was of course quite a while ago, but since then, I feel like I have only matured and grown as an individual that is capable of committing to this.
 • How much experience do you have as a staff member?
As I mentioned, I do have some experience with this. And if there is something that I am not used to yet, or completely unfamiliar with, then I will get used to it. Quite fast, hopefully.
 • Are you currently staff on any other servers?
Nope. Just got back to Minecraft about a week ago.
 • Have you broken any rules on the Lift Discord or Minecaft server?

Just joined the discord, and there is a possibility of me swearing slightly when playing on the server. "Why?" you'd ask. That is because the complete and utter disrespect from other players. Of course there will be quite a bit of salt when people are spawnkilling and all that, nothing you can really do about it, but hey, that's life.
Situation Questions -
 • You banned someone for hacking, the community is outraged. How would you deal with the outrage?
 I start by explaining to the community why I'd ban the person. And if they continue, there isn't really anything more I can do about it. Issuing a global chatmute, that isn't going to do anything at all. And there is no reason to unban the person to please the community since I would've caught the player red handed hacking. Not much you can do except try to help them understand. Not really their place to comment on the ban overall though.
 • Explain a situation where you might have to act mature and professional while being staff on Lift.

Well, of course you have to be act mature and handle every situation with professionalism, but in this case, I can give an example. Let's say two people are arguing over something. Try to de-escalate the situation with manners. That will help both the players calm down, and see that you aren't picking a favorite in anyway. Listen to both stories, and try to get a fair outcome. Fair would be to serve justice rightfully. But if there isn't any justice to serve, because they've either both done wrong, or it's just opinions and no one has done anything wrong, you ask them to just stay away from each other and that's good enough.

Application Denied
We have decided to deny your application due to the following reasons:
1. Your "swearing" habit seems to let lose a lot. A staff member should be able to remain calm under hard situations.
I don't believe you could handle this considering your spawn killing statement.
2. In applications it's unacceptable to swear altogether. I know you said "Excuse the swearing" but this doesn't make it
okay to use during an application.

I hope you understand our decision. Apart from what's mentioned above, your application was good.
In the future, try to calm down with the cursing a bit. And if you decide to apply again, don't swear and just add a tiny bit more detail to your application.

You may be allowed to apply again in 4 weeks.
