Farewell

Hi everyone, please read this entire post so there's no rumors/confusion regarding this. I am resigning 100% on my own accord and it's not due to anyone else's leave.

I'm going to be resigning and basically leaving Minehut as a whole. I'd like to make it perfectly clear this has nothing to do with all the recent resignations and I was actually going to resign before all of the staff who recently have, I was just sticking around to hopefully start getting some stuff drifted toward new management and still addressing some lingering issues. Some of those issues are gone, some remain. As such, I'd like to congratulate @_Gingey_ on his Staff Manager position and @BennyDoesStuff on his Community Manager position. I have full faith in them and believe they're the most sensible choices.

I will still be reachable on this Discord account but won't really be around extensively on Minehut, I'll still come on every now and again. I'm going to be going to college in just over 20 days, working, and I am also an Army ROTC cadet on scholarship which means the Army has already spent over $150k on me and my education - Minehut will 100% get in the way of this and I'll end up having to pay back hundreds of thousands of dollars out of my pocket. Being a Manager takes a lot more time and effort than is probably apparent to the community and it was a lot to handle alone and if I continue to fill it my future will inevitably suffer, which is why I'm taking this final step. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I can't allow Minehut to get in my way. It's been my dream for my entire life to be an Officer in the Army and I've been afforded that opportunity. I can't let it go to waste. Anyway, this is a very stressful job, especially having to go through it alone, which is why I'm glad there are two managers now rather than just one. 

It's no secret that the staff team has been in a very bad place recently but I trust the new management will get it back on track. Both Benny & Gingey have very good ideas and I'm glad to say that I believe the staff team will be just fine in their hands. I've talked with them many times about the staff team, both when I was a senior mod and when I was a manager, and they definitely make the most sense to fill these positions. They've already been working closely together on recruitment and I don't think it'll be much of an adjustment running the show together as they already have in the past.

Again, I am still in contact with @Trent but in terms of Minehut I'll basically be going ghost, I won't be online too often but I may still pop up. It was a pleasure working on Minehut on and off for the last four years and it's an experience I truly won't ever forget. I've made really good friends throughout this time, a few who are still sticking with me even though I'm leaving too. I hope you're all understanding of this.

You've been a great influence on me since I've been on the staff team, it'll be sad and hard to see you go but I'm glad you're doing the right think for you. All the best lad.

Farewell Minehut 

Its something that we only really get it when we get older, that there are things in life that we want/have to do and that staying in a minecraft server will stop us from achieving what we want/have to achieve. I see that clearly in my soon to be departure from minehut too.

although I never really talked to you alot in the past, I remember seeing you doing stuff _C02, good stuff.
