How do I reset my servers world?

as the title says, i cant figure out how to reset my servers world (and yes, ive tried the "reset world" button). After i click that button, it just shows a loading icon and then it stops. i turn the server back on and the world isnt reset. Please help, i cant figure it out.

Did you restart the server after clicking that button? Maybe try clicking that button while the server is offline then start the server.
