How to change your servers difficulty

So i want zombies to have armor, so im trying to change the difficulty. How do i do that?

I have the same problem but i am also unable to use that command in-game ! I tried to change it trough properties and restart multiple times but it wont work.

The correct way to change your servers difficulty is by going into your Minehut console > Settings > Difficulty > Change the difficulty > then restart the server. Or by doing /difficulty (difficulty) you can change the gamemode.
