No new nether biomes?

I started a new world and it says its 1.16.1 but when i went into the nether i couldn't find any of the new biomes. i even went into spectator mode a flew for a few thousand blocks and yet still found nothing. i then deleted the nether from the world files and went back in, which reset the nether but still no new biomes. is this a bug on minehut?

All servers are currently on 1.15.2, not 1.16 (yet). Servers will (hopefully) be updated by next week when enough plugins are updated and a stable build of PaperSpigot is released.

I don't think they have completely updated to 1.16.1 yet.
