Xp orbs combining

So on my server the xp orbs are combining which is really annoying cuz for example it's really hard to use a gold farm because the xp just doesn't come to you cuz it keeps combining with other orbs. Is there any way to fix this without acces to spigot.yml? My idea: couldn't minehut add a setting to the settings tab so we can choose if we want the orbs to combine or not?

To answer your question, I believe there is a skript event for when xp orbs combine so you should be able to cancel that event
