Cant connect to a java server from bedrock

So my friends who play fom java (while im bedrock) and I decided to make a server. The problem is that i am unable to join this server and i cant play so i thought id write a forum about it hoping that someone will see it and help me by explaining how i can join into a java server from bedrock. Thanks

Use the IP bedrock.minehut.com

In your game, you are able to connect to servers, add a custom server thing and then use the IP bedrock.minehut.com

In the chat, type /join (server)

So let's say your ip is games.minehut.gg

In the lobby you would type /join games

Now replace games with your actual server name

for future reference for anyone who comes across this and has the same question:

Go to lobby and type "/join <server ip>" replacing the <server ip> with the name of the server.
